Your section is working for you - so get the benefits of membership!

Each month, volunteers just like you work together with industry leaders to create new and exciting learning opportunities.  Whether you're a beginner,  student or a seasoned professional - our AWS chapter welcomes you.  Come and meet new contacts, share stories and trade ideas that you can apply right away.  Ever wonder about the best way to weld something?  Or, perhaps you'd like to compare equipment, gas or consumables that you use everyday?  Whatever the case, our AWS section is hear to listen and work with you to discover the answers.  How can you reap the benefits of belonging to our local section of the AWS?  The answer is simple ... PARTICIPATE!  We're nothing without YOU!!! 

How to get involved:

Join the American Welding Society and participate in our meetings, tours and other group activities where you'll meet others who share a common interest - joining metal!  Here, you'll find important information about the industry and how our section is working together, as a team, to promote the science and art of welding in South Florida and beyond.  Stay up-to-date on section news, participate in events and plan your schedule around fun and exciting events.  You'll meet new people, strengthen your welding network and learn about things to help you become a better welding resource - whether you're involved with welding at work or at home.

The South Florida Section of the AWS is here for you ... and all you need to do is be an involved member.  Contact us with ideas, suggestions or to volunteer and give back to the organization, like others have done.  If you want to get involved and can apply your skills - there are many possibilities to contribute.  No time?  No money?  No worries!  Our members and volunteers find many ways to help out and promote the local section, so we can constantly improve with moving forward together.
